Course Overview:

Child protection and safeguarding is everyones responsibility.This course is specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children.

Course Outline:

• Have an awareness of legislation and guidance supporting safeguarding and child protection
• Have an awareness of the different types of child abuse
• Demonstrate and awareness and recognition of signs and behaviours indicating abuse
• Reporting abuse – how and to whom
• Being aware of the importance of how to respond
• Child protection scenarios/case studies
