Visit Essential 6 at the Care & Occupational Therapy Show 2026
Essential 6 is delighted to be exhibiting at the Care & Occupational Therapy Show 2026, taking place at Westpoint Exeter on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
This well-established South West event brings together care providers, occupational therapists, NHS and community health professionals, case managers, service leaders, suppliers and specialist organisations who are all working to improve outcomes for the people they support.
For Essential 6, this is an exciting opportunity to meet with organisations across health, social care, occupational therapy, case management and community services to discuss how practical, high-quality training can support safer care, stronger teams and improved confidence in practice.
Supporting safer, more confident care
At Essential 6, we work with care providers, NHS services, local authorities, case management organisations, occupational therapy teams and community services to deliver practical, engaging and professionally led training.
Our training is designed to help teams feel confident, competent and prepared for the real situations they may face in everyday care and support settings.
At the show, visitors will be able to speak with us about a wide range of training and support services, including:
- First Aid and basic life support training
- Moving and handling of people training and safe practices
- Falls awareness and falls prevention
- Dementia awareness and ageing simulation training
- Fire safety and fire warden training using live fire rigs to simulation glasses
- Safeguarding, medication and infection control training
- RESTORE2-based clinical observation training
- CQC readiness and well-led assurance support
- Registered Manager leadership development
- Train the Trainer programmes
- Bespoke health and social care training packages
Immersive and practical training that makes learning meaningful
Essential 6 is known for delivering training that is practical, engaging and relevant to the workplace.
We believe that training should do more than tick a compliance box. It should help people understand risk, build confidence, improve decision-making and make a positive difference to the people they support.
Our immersive training methods include realistic scenarios, practical demonstrations, specialist equipment and discussion based learning that helps delegates connect training to real life practice.
For care and occupational therapy services, this approach is especially important. Staff need training that reflects the complexity of real working environments, including supporting people with frailty, reduced mobility, cognitive impairment, falls risk, changing health needs and emergency situations.
