Course Overview
We all know how to take care of our physical health, but what about mental? The UK is experiencing an epidemic levels with 1 in 4 people likely suffering from some kind if depression or anxiety each year. It’s just as important – yet many don’t realise it until they see their friend struggling at work and not getting any better over time because there wasn’t enough support for them before this point (or even during).
Throughout this 1 day course, learners will develop an understanding on the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in recognising mental health issues at work. Topics covered include: understanding mental health and its importance, promoting positive mental health in the workplace, common mental health conditions, mental health first aid at work action plans.

3. Understand a range of common Mental Health conditions

Theory assessment/multiple choice question paper: 1 x 15 question paper (minimum score 10)
This qualification sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is a qualification framework regulated by Ofqual.
